It sounds like there will be a 2.2l diesel to replace the current 2.0. I reckon we'll also see a move to 6 speed autos across petrol and diesel models, with a 6 speed manual on the base diesel.

I also think the 3.2 Alloytech will be dropped and we might see the 3.0 SIDI for six cylinder models - more power and similar torque to the 3.2. It makes some sense for the Melbourne plant to drop the 3.2 - does it go into anything else in the GM world?

It would be great to see the Captiva5 get the 2.4 SIDI and a six-speeder..... and maybe the diesel. I suppose what we get will be based on keeping the Captiva5 at a sharp price point.
