What about the old man who was done speeding a couple years ago down in VIC (from memory). He was the oldest person to have there car impounded. He was in a Nissan club, or something like that, and had his GTiR impounded for something like 170km/h. Something like that anyway.

VICTORIA has crushed its second hoon car four years after the anti-hoon legislation was introduced.

In that time, more than 11,000 hoon drivers have had their cars impounded for a period of time.

The crushed Holden Commodore belonged to a 22-year-old man from Hamilton in the state's west who lost the car after after recording three hoon driving offences.

Because the car did not meet the strict resale safety standards and was owned outright by the driver, it was crushed, but not before State Emergency Service volunteers used it to practice their road rescue skills.

Holden appears to be the hoon car of choice, making up 46 per cent of cars impounded, well ahead of Ford (16.7 per cent) and Nissan (7.8 per cent).

I know of one old driver that i see most mornings on the way into the city, in a vovlo wagon, doing about 20km and hour in the 60 zone, barely able to see over the steering wheel - they are an accident waiting to happen.
