Just read this and wondered if you guys have the same thing in Oz

So the airbag module records the speed of the vehicle for 60 seconds prior to and 15 seconds after activation? Hmm... :confused:

how does the black box know 60 seconds before the airbag deploys when to start recording or would it just record everything nonstop

Records continuously up to the last 60 seconds before deployment and the 15 or so secs after. They have been like this for some years now.
