mate any bloke can pick up the phone and book a restaurant or hotel, organize a picnic, where you have tee'd up the food and location, have some cheese and wine and some gourmet picnic food, that will impress her more, garanteed to get lucky - wedding night reply !!

A weekend away where they have chalets with hot tubs/spas etc...

Not in NSW i know but there is an awesome place in SW of WA with outdoor and under the stars hot tubs... Pretty cool.

I'm sure she'll be happy with any sort of treat you give her :goodjob:

If your thinking of heading out to the blue mountains I highly recommend you take your wife to eagle view escapehttp://www.eagleview.com.au/. Its an awesome place built inside a cliff. Check it out. Around the $250 a night mark. Took the mrs, not the wife, there for our 2nd year anniversary and she loved it.

Cypress Lakes in the Hunter is a top spot to stay, then hit the cellars and stock up some terrific wines, and gr8 food and cheeses.

Do u have a budget? There's a difference between what u can do for $200 vs what u can do for $20,000.....

Don't go too crazy - if all goes to plan you don't want to have set the bar too high.

We went back to the Chinese restuarant where we got engaged. (It was a while ago now!)

+3 for McDonalds.

My wife and I had Macca's for dinner on our wedding night, so it holds a special place in our hearts.

We eloped interstate, and got married by a Civil Celebrant on the balcony of our hotel room with 2 hotel employees as witnesses.

It was a lovely day, no parents getting stressed ... and the hotel bent over backwards for us, including giving us one of their best rooms at a cheap rate, a vase of roses and a bottle of very expensive champagne as a gift - even though we asked for no such luxuries.

All our photos were taken with a cheap digital camera on a tripod with 10 sec delay  We then finished the night eating McDonalds. Brilliant!

As a return favour to the hotel, I better give 'em a plug (http://www.palazzoversace.com/#/home), and say that if you wanted to make your missus happy, I recommend staying there for a weekend getaway. It was brilliant. Though you'd need to get a flight to the Gold Coast.

Have a great night whatever you do.

Are you still that handsome?
Getting back on topic though take her somewhere before she starts nagging @ you. I guarantee you don't wanna go there.

Cheers

Cypress Lakes in the Hunter is a top spot to stay, then hit the cellars and stock up some terrific wines, and gr8 food and cheeses.

Did that last weekend and it was a very nice relaxing weekend. Used a company called the Vineyard Shuttle Service who were recomended by a work collegue for a wine tour in the afternoon and it was great! They also do a pick up and drop off service during the night to restaurants etc. Ended up using the restaurant at Cypress Lakes instead so we could relax some more which was also very nice.

Definately worth a thought.

I was going to be comical and say something along the lines of spend up big before she takes it all but how about going to a wine region interstate for a weekend? The Yarra Valley is great and there's always Healsville Sanctuary as it's a scientifically proven fact that all females love fury animals. If you're after a day thing as mentioned above a picnic can never go astray.

Depends what you like, id rather die than spend a nite in a winery & sitting in a spa.

When I was looking for a place to take the Mrs, I jumped on lastminute.com.au and did a surprise getaway in Melbourne and it was bloody good. Maybe jump on there and fill in the fields and see what happens....
