I'm trying to find an inexpensive way to ship out a bumper from Australia to USA. Has anyone done that? What did you use? How much did it cost?

Thanks!
Rafal

You are probably better off asking on the US forums for guys who have bought Holden parts from JHP, etc. Most of the Aussies are shipping stuff the other way (US to AU) so not many would have any experience from AU to US.

You could always ask JHP for a quote to get an idea.

I did, and it turned to be a three page topic with funny pictures. People are absolutely not serious.

There were few people who suggested buying 10 bumpers and shipping in a container, but that'd be too much money for just me.

Maybe get a few blokes together from over there and do a "group buy"

I believe there has been a few guys from OS asking the same thing.
good luck with it.

I have enquired about it but the freight package people do not like the shape of a bumpers. That was the excuse given. The price was nearly 5 or 6 times the bumper.
I would tend to agree with tunnafun and get a few and container them over.

Rafal, try a company called DGX, we have used them for international freight before.

They also offer container 'spaces', where you portion off a certain amount of a container and pay for that space, wait for the rest of the container to be filled by other clients and pay a fraction of the container.
