Hi all.
Keep getting p2271 sensor stuck rich. Has now been replaced twice by Holden dealer under warranty. Car is stock other than Walkihshaw CAI and tune.
For info O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 is switching properly - Sensor 2 seems to hover around .450?
Not convinced dealer can troubleshoot this...any advice? Has any member had a similar issue or could point to what could be causing this problem?
Cheers:

i have had a similar fault come up on our car, except it was for the opposite bank. and like you i have had a otrcai, catback and tune. had the O2 sensors moved accordingly. had the fault spasmodically over a couple of weeks, and hasn't been back for about 6 weeks. only thing i can put it down to is poor quality fuel????? i remember filling up with bp ultimate (only ever use 98 octane), and this stuff has up to 10% ethanol in it. i know these engines are e10 compliant, but i,m just wondering if after a tune they get the sxxts on with the sugar cane:). anyone care to add their thoughts? since then i now only run shell's 98 brew, and been happy ever since.

The fault commenced 2 weeks after the Walkinshaw tune. Assume it is related..may need to get walkinshaw performance to flash back to stock to see whether the tune is the problem.

Um I thought BP ultimate was 98 octane and didnt think it had ethanol in it(I could be wrong)

Long saga over a couple of months...dealer couldn't fault anything other than ECU. New ECU in - all good so far!
