Bugatti Veryon Regains Fastest Car 431km/h

Hey peoples was reading today that there is an updated bugatti veryon just realeased is has a small 1200hp and a price tag of $2million

Bugatti Veyron Super Sports 2010 World Record Edition.

The world's fastest production car - again. Hit 268mph (431km/h) just last night to reclaim the mantle off the SSC Ultimate Aero. Allegedly driven by someone from the BBC's Top Gear team, Bugatti wanted their upgrade to get the world record so they could call it the, er, World Record edition, apparently. Which means you'll have to pay around $2 million to own it.

The 1200hp makes my 385rwhp look pretty sick
Other than on a high speed track I don't think I would like to travel that fast even on the Autobahn.
Just imagine if some pleb in a Porsche Turbo pulled out in front of you when you are doing 431mph.

You're not alone, the McLaren F1 looks the way a 'Worlds Fastest Production Car' should look, the Veyron looks like a mutant insect.

i love it, if had the 2Mill spare id have one, after i bought a mansion close to the 'ring and not too far from an autobahn that is, having one in this big nursery we call aus would be pointless. its just good to see that there are guys out there thinking of these cars to build, makes you wonder whats next!

This was on Top Gear last night (repeat) and James May drove one way and hit 414km/h.......

then a Bugatti test driver did two ways and averaged the 431 km/h

they said the old veyrons tyres would last 37 miles @ 250mph but didn't know how long these would last at 268mph...... :confused:

Did anyone see this episode where Cameron Diaz was on with Tom Cruise ?? Fark Cameron can drive. She made Jeremy feel ill when she was smoking up that car that Jeremy was the passenger in??? didn't see what it was tho..... :rofl:

It's a great car, you must admit. Something that can handle soo much power and put it to use is to be well commended. But... I'm more interested in the engine. But I think the engineers should be congratulated for their efforts. :)

Damn, that thing is a beast.
What amazes me is how well that things handles, clocked a 1min 16 around the test track on Top Gear, fastest at that point, then later beaten by the 550hp Atom (aka motorbike with four wheels)

Its one thing to do 431kmh, but to turn and stop aswell, one huge feat !

Imagine a stripped out, race setup on slicks, tuned on gas :eyes:

I still get blown away buy the specs and the blatant fact it sticks it finger up :flipoff: at practically EVERY supercar known to man. I love the fact a bunch of engineers somehow got approval for a W16 with one....no two... Nar fark it four turbo's ( I mean W16's are so sluggish without the quads) and let's make it all super strong but light carbon fibre and yeah make it AWD.....Fkn sicko's I love them. :bow:

They HAD too.. Their new boss (of VW) came out and said they would build a 1000HP car and go 250MPH to the worlds press..

And the rest - is history.. Though it took a long long long time, with a few spectacular failures.. However history will show the Veyron was THE Supercar of our time...
