Hey all,
just wondering if anyone has had one of these clutches,
*Drivability - wouldn't expect it to be very friendly
*does it hold up after launching and clutch drops
any experience would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Foo

Hey mate
That clutch would be very driver unfriendly as its mostly a "On" "Off" type clutch as there is no being able to ride the clutch until a friction point. Would be an absolute pain in the ass if its a daily driver haha
Exedy Do make some very good quality stuff but after having one in my GTR Skyline i probably wouldnt buy another one as it only lasted bout 5000ks and that was close to 1K. That was with a couple of 4WD Launches, but maybe they are better quality now then they were a couple of years ago.

Did you sort out the problems you had with the revs and shifting mate?
I have an extreeme clutch in mine and it cops daily driving with clutch drops and hasnt slipped yet. Gives the left leg a workout tho

hey Stumps,
yeah man stupid me. wasn't for a while until i realized it was the clutch starting to die and slip slightly, it absolutely hates stabs of the throttle now and spins with any more than 1/3 throttle.
Friday the clutch is going in :)

I can't really comment on the Hyper Single but I had an Exedy Heavy Duty put in my old R33 and loved it.
Never slipped but the car would've only made about 200rwkw and probably alot less torque than an LS1...
