In the owner's handbook (instruction book, whatever it is called) for the car there are often instructions how to cancel. As all models reset different...
What model car?
Also if you use the search button on the page and type in "service reset" and the model of your car I reckon you should find the answer ...:search:

Yup, usually along the lines of pumping the gas pedal so many times while the car is "On" but not started.

"service vehicle soon" warning on a VE means there is a fault, you cannot cancel it, it will go away when the fault is rectified...its not a 30 000klm service reminder for example.

Yeah you are right mate! :goodjob:
I just scrolled down to the bottom of this page and looked at the "SIMILAR THREADS" section and there is about 5 threads which have it covered.
I have been checking these "Silmilar Threads" things lately, I reckon they are a great idea on the forum! :goodjob:
Only noticed them a little while ago, are they fairly new?

It WILL be the oil pressure switch. I changed mine... fixed, then it came back... turns out that I got a dodge replacement switch. Easy to change, about. 60 for the sensor and 15 for the socket.

Yep read about this many times now with the sender switch.
Did you go with the OEM replacement that holden charge between $80-$180 or the aftermarket siemens one from any auto parts store for Around $60?

I read somewhere that the OEM unit which is made in mexico had a fault from birth, and while it is/was a known problem Holden still doesnt acknowledge it.

I'll change mine the day the warning light doesnt go out.

I have just payed $150 for the Holden part and replaced it myself as the Tauranga Holden dealer wanted to charge to $300-$400 to do job what a rip off.

Thats not a bad parts price for To Ronga  .

Hard to justify the dealers mark up on a 10 min job eh.

I cant believe what holden charge for a service, Ive been doing my own services on our VZ wagon for years, but that beeping is annoying.
