Is it possible to PM or reply to PM's that have been sent to a users account from this Moderators account ?

I have had a post moderated of which I do not agree with the reason and don't really care for being told it was "Stupid" despite the moderator obviously not understanding the dry humour.

I think there is a bit of a personal issue here with the subject matter in the post and moderator in concern. I just don't really understand the reasons behind it. This thread can be locked/deleted it would be just nice to get a bit of an explanation as I am severly confused.

Thanks.

The "Moderators" account is just the automated mailer that lets users know a post has been edited/deleted, so that is why reply PM's to it are not allowed.

If you have a issue or concern regarding moderation you have a couple of options:
1. If you received a PM from the mailer, you can click the "Report Private Message" icon on the right side of the PM and send your concerns to all the Moderators that way.

or

2. Just click the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum page and send your concerns via that method.

The first method is better for deleted posts as it will also automatically give us a link to the edited/deleted post so we know what you're talking about.
It is important thought to never question moderation on the open forum as that breaches the forum rules. The above 2 options are the only methods you should use/need,

This is in the first few lines of "FORUM RULES" section...

"Any issues or complaints in regards to any post, thread or sponsor must not be responded to within the forum threads or posts, but should be addressed by using the provided reported post functionality or by sending an email to The Moderators identifying the post at issue. Or submit your concern via this form Contact Us if you have an Issue"

"Any issues or complaints in relation to any moderation of threads or posts please contact The Admin for further review".

Still doesn't say you can't question moderation by posting in the thread though, does it?

No Tone, not exactly in such exact words but it sort of says to email admin with any problems and tells you not to get into rows on other things on the forums just email instead.
I reckon that works out to sort of "YOU WILL GET INTO TROUBLE IF YOU START A THREAD TO BAG THE MODERATORS DECISION!" if you read between the lines! :jester::jester::jester:
