my mate usually goes up the river near swan reach and rides around there (hardly and cops up there) or theres a huge place at Lower Light (light beach road) just past the shooting range which was and probably still is a popular place

Has it got rec rego? That will greatly improve your riding option's.

I've only been to Gawler and Murray Bridge up there. (MX & enduro loop's)

Kingston/Robe (Dunes) is about as far as i go now.(im on the SA/VIC border)

No such thing as rec rego in SA.
If it's not registered, you're limited to MX tracks, Pt Gawler, ACUSA park and JAMS.
If it is registered, head across to dirtbikeworld.net and post in the SA organise a ride section.

Ariel is one of the main trailridng clubs, yeah (I'm a member).

Generally people want to get to know a new rider a bit before inviting them along for a ride though.
