pw50 please help

Yamaha PW50 dies when ignition switch is moved to run position. I replaced wiring harness last year and has been going fine since until now. If i position the switch half way between start and run, or half way setween run and off it then works. Any ideas??

Connection in the switch maybe faulty? Try replacing just the switch?

Most 50 CCs stops by grounding one wire in the ignition switch. disconnect wire after the coil to see that it runs. use ohm meter to measure the circuit in the key switch etc.
