Hi
Ok on Friday the 4th of July I acheived a 13.7 at 83mph, I lost a lot of mph as I damaged my gear selector during the run, which really affected my 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th gear change, but my launch was terrific!
Does anyone know what my car would have pulled over the quarter mile if I acheived my usual 105mph by the 400m mark?

Richard

What you are asking for is fairly hard to calculate and would just be a guess work.
However, if you have your 60 foot time, half track time and mph someone maybe able to have a shot at it.
FYI, i did 11.8 @ 100mph and would have most likely recorded my PB on that run, but will never know.

Hi Emre
Thanks for your reply. Looks like my theory will not work correctly if you did an 11.8 with 100mph! I know my car is in the low 13's as it did a 13.3 previously and thought that maybe an accurate calculation could be made based on my data for this run. Obviously it can not as I know my car would not get an 11 sec quarter just because my mph is more than your car on your run on that one occassion.

Richard

hard to say, but the best i think you'd come up with on street tyres and 105mph is a low 13 still. with some slicks you may get a couple of tenths better.

Richard,
As people have said the best you can look for with a 105mph is a low 13. I ran 12.96@106.3mph but that was with slicks and a hi-stall.

I ran a 13.8001 @ 105 last Heathcote glad to hear if my driving was better I'd be in the low 13's..
need to get me a gun pilot for the next attempt.
I ran a 13.4 @ 105mph but also ran a 13.6 @ 104 and 105mph so richard its like the old fishing tale about the one that got away.
