Since there is a few other AMGs already up, i thought id show you mine.
I bought the car brand new Feb last year. Very happy with it. Every time i drive it i have the biggest smile.
Ive done a couple of modifications to it, as follows:
ECU Tune by Bayside Performance
Aftermarket headers and complete exhaust
H&R 1in lower springs
19in ADV1 wheels
Gruppe M Carbon Cold Air Ram intake
Revzsport Carbon Diffuser
BMC air filters
The car has recently gone 11.90. It will definately go quicker. It did that time before i fitted the Gruppe intake and BMC filters (excuses aside) i also had some major exhaust leaks from the collectors. Once the weather cools down and less humidity i will be at the track again. The car will also go on a small diet for that day.
Below are some photos from when i got it, to how it looks now

i just did a dyno run with the air filters and new intake, it picked up power all the way through the rev range. Max peak was about 10rwkw. Very happy with it. I will try post a pic, i didnt get a print out as we didnt play with the tune.

Awesome car h. I've got a mate that replaces the diff housing in these to a proper LSD (something like that anyway) & he started one up from cold that he had in his workshop.
I couldn't believe the note it made and I asked him what's he's done to the exhaust. He could have pushed me over with a leaf when he said it's "stock standard".
Crazy stuff & made me green with envy when I kicked over me wagon & pretty much sounded like a vacuum cleaner :)
Cheers Matt

I don't get it why people who get given a (very) expensive car by their parents find it so attractive to then decide to treat the car like shite - the drag runs are fine, but the other stuff, well, it may be a reflection of age and what was actually done to deserve the car in the first place. I am truly perplexed.....

While i agree with not doing burnouts(that big) on the street and it being a very expensive car, why do we assume his parents have given it to him:confused: I'm sure this happens in some case though, but not all.

Hey Walked_On,
None of your skids are on public roads hey?:)
I'm pretty sure this is the car that gave us a run on the M1 (south bound)last week. I was the passenger in a client's red Carrera S - It was wet on the road so we pulled the pin at the top of third gear. I noticed you flew past (on the inside lane) at 200++ - sounded horn.
Just remember mate - 40km/h+ above the speed limit and it's foot-falcon for six months.

I believe you are barking up the wrong tree...but I agree with the sentiment.
The number plate and the ethnicity of the driver indicates a Turkish background. The brand Efes is a Turkish beer company. When I was in Istanbul last year we drank this brand of beer and it was rocket fuel - 8% IIRC??
Either from a wealthy family in the Efes Pilsener business or the Turkish restaurant by the same name in Albion, Brisbane. Either way - great job on the car!!
If it were mine I would treat it like a fine Turkish plum wine and savour the quality.
BTW - the red Carrera (NINE 97) had you man:nyuk:

Its a nice car, and although I would never drive a car like that myself, I commend you for enjoying it and having some fun in life :) :goodjob: It is no different to people fanging new commodores anyway so I don't entirely understand some peoples comments, especially ones who should know better.
If people have nothing nice to say, dont bother really, just pure jealousy.

Unfortuneatly it has nothing to do with nuts, moreso choice and opportunity. We all would if we all could, however ultimately depends what you are after and what you can afford be that strip, track or keyboard.....:hide:

I think it is great that you are using the car and getting the most of it. Drive it hard!
The thing is that the car is depreciating and you will probably roll it over into a newer model in a few yrs anyway.

not much to say, the car has gone 11.86 (mid winter), changed my tune again. Went a flat 12 @ 120mph as i drive it every day on the st with my 19in tyres all round. Very happy with that considering the summer heat (time was run a couple of weeks ago). Have a few more mods planned but nothing major, hopefully completed before winter but ive got a new car on the build so this will be daily duties.
