Always on the lookout for something to further separate my car from the crowd I’m tempted to give one of Ken’s 5 gauge binnacles a try but am having problems finding a gauge set to go with it. On his info sheet Ken shows two different gauge sets he can supply. The first set (AEM gauges) look great but are far too expensive for me with most prices around $235 to $310 each. The second set (RaceTech) are much more reasonably priced (most around $50 each) but I don’t like the look of them (black face, white writing).

I have spent ages hunting the net but can’t find anything to suit my needs so am seeking help from others with more knowledge or who have been down this path before. I want the following (in metric units where applicable):

1. Voltmeter
2. Engine oil temp
3. Engine oil pressure
4. Transmission temp
5. Wideband AFR

To match my dash gauges I’d ideally like them in red with white numbering and but I have a feeling that’s an impossibility, so my next preference is white or light grey/silver faced with a bit of red somewhere if possible just to at least tie in somewhat. However, even after checking the Autometer website with their plethora of gauges I cannot find a matching set of 5 anywhere in metric.

Does anyone know who makes a set of 5 matching metric gauges as above please?

Thanks,
Gary

Have you tried Rockets, also they sel the colour tits or globe doms that i used.
but for better colour use diferent colour diode may have to use 2 in paralel for brighter light.

Gary, I had a set of grey backed white writing Stewart Warner gauges. Been around as long as Autometre/Speco and half the price. good, sound units.

Hey Wonky, have you looked into these guys,

http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/

I have a set of 5 elite gauges for my Typhoon, I have 4 of the 5 you want ecept I have boost instead of volts. Work well are electric and come with everything you need to istall them, reasonable priced also. Check Ebay to buy the gauges as they take some time to respond to emails and you get free shipping through ebay. Cost me $643 for Boost, Oil Press, Oil Temp, Trans temp and wideband AFR.

Thanks Ash. Found a set of matching gauges to suit my needs on http://www.sw-performance.com/products/CTG

Mark/Roonstain - FYI. In silver #114901 (AFR), #114255 (oil press), #114264 (oil temp in C), #114282 (trans temp in C) and #114201 (volts) or white #114902, #114256, #114265, #114283 and #114202 so have emailed Fraser for prices.

Virtually nobody does oil pressure gauges in kPa as Holden does on the Atari ones, so I prefer PSI to Bar.

Thanks FOON. Nice gauges but all black faced despite the colour variations and only look to come in Fahrenheit for temp. :(

They look really nice!
It is a shame that no numerical value is given for the AFRs though

Wonky,

JHP do gauges in various colours inc. red with white lettering like mine (as you have seen).

Maybe drop Rob Tanner an e-mail (rob@jhp.com.au) and see what he has to help?

All the best mate.

Cheers, TB
