View Full Version : DTC Error code P0340

as it would happen the day before xmas (and last trading day b4 NATS) my car is getting the error code P0340. anyone had this and any ideas on things to check? I have a feeling this was the same code that the car threw with a faulty 2 bar sensor, so if anyone in the Canberra area has a spare one i can beg, borrow, steal or even pay for let me know. 0410469222

Cam position sensor code mate. Make sure its plugged in on the front of the timing cover or the wires havent rubbed though. If its disconnected it will make it hard to start at times as it will fire on the wrong stroke. Thats about it

:1peek: I had this problen after we removed and refitted my motor. :goodjob:Jezz. Havin a bit of trouble leaving the pashing thing alone, but hey its christmas and there is mistletoe eveywhere...............lol
