OK, done all the seaches and ive heard and read alot about Circle D and dominator, but Slingshot is not a brand i have heard of before seeing them as a forum sponsor.
Wanna hear from people that have used their converter and what their thoughts are, just after abit of feedback.
Got a quote from Dave at Slingshot the other day, good quote, and plenty of info about his converters, which i havent managed to get from others. :goodjob:
Thanks.

i'm in the same boat. looking for a small 9" ish convertor, single, with lock-up around 4500 rpm. I want the best convertor (low 1.5 60fts from a bolt on L76) and from a couple big runners on here they say go to the americans. gone through comparison's of all the big US based ones. Yank used to be the best but i think circle-d are killing them at the moment. with full billet parts and up to date tech.
this is a good little thread on ls1tech

chris from circle-d has been awesome and all the american guys rave about them. custom is ~$1195 + $225 deliv. or off the shelf 9.5" 4500 about $725. http://www.circledspecialties.com/p-18-gm-245mm-pro-i-4l60e-ls-torque-converter.aspx

Ive got a 3500rpm Dominator lock-up convertor in my SSZ. Drives great, and at times, feels like an almost stock convertor.
I am upgrading soon to a 4500rpm, when i get my box built. I am looking in to some convertors from the US at the moment. Otherwise ill stick with a Dominator
