G day I am looking into getting a cam for my manual cv8r. I have intake and full exhaust mods done. I live in rocky and thought I do a trip to Brissy to give powertorque a go. Does anyone have some up to date feedback on them and some rough prices. Will have to do research on cam size but I want a cam roller rockers valve springs and tune done is there anything else I should get done whilst getting these mods done? I would like to get heads but I am on budget contraints(wife and 2 kids). The monaro has 57000 on the clock and at local dyno day put out 311hp atws. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Shane.

Had a mate get a cam done at powertorqe and had nothing but good to say about them!
But you dont need to go that far for a cam, HDT in mackay are more than capable of looking after you and have alot of impressed customers on this forum

The boys at Power Torque are great and really look after you and the car like it was there own.
They have done a number of things for me and a number of friends, everythings from edits to stroker/supercharges and I can say that in this part of the world I wouldn't take my car to anyone else.

You could try Stitts motors Walkinshaw performance in Gladdy mate its only an hour away if you ever do anymore mods or have any problems instead of
7+ hours for anything that might play up or a re tune

is that meant to be saying something bad about powertorque or just saying travel times a bitch?

Shaun and Mark at Powertorque are great guys, they've done all the work on mine (cam, blower, clutch, tune, servicing). The tell you straight and that's what I like.

Talked to Jeremy @ CQ HDT and did some research on the forum and decided to go with them. He was great to talk to and seems like a genuine bloke. Plus the travel time with wife following in the family car with 2 kides under 3 had something to do with it. Anyway I will find out in just under 2 months as it is booked in for cam otrai and tune, will give feedback after install for anyone in the area and thanks for everyones feedback.
