....tank of petrol that you just cannot explain? The one that gives you that extra kick every time you lean on the go pedal. The one that feels more responsive, cleaner, crisper punch out of every corner.

Well, I have just added such magic nectar and I'm going to enjoy every drop. The problem is that its happened before. I've gone back to the exact same bowser at the exact same station...only to be disappointed with 'regular 98' again.

I'm not going to mention the brand (it's not about whcih fuel brand is better). It's about that perfect mix that seems to marry up with the planets all aligning at just the right moment.

If you've ever experienced what I'm talking about you'd agree that it would be worth an extra 10c a litre if you could just guarantee the same 'feel'.

I had this once last summer while I was at the beach holidaying. I just filled up my 3rd tank in less than a week so I had a very good feel of how the car was at the time. As soon as I drove out of the servo and went into 2nd I knew I was onto something special. It revved so much smoother and the car felt happy. I savoured every drop of it. I tried octane boosters not long after but it wasn't the same.


I never had that good batch of fuel again. :bawl:

Yea i know what your talking about... i got my car tuned on BP but it runs better on caltex :S
