hi guys has anyone got any pics of vy clubbys in the colour ultraviolet? ive tried search but nothing come up, this colour was a sought after colour in the clubbys for the vy era wasnt it?

That's Cosmo not Ultra Violet. Ultra violet was a VZ colour I think the difference was it was a bit darker?

P.S. I hope that GTS is in a garage, I remember when it was for sale I looked at the ad everyday and drooled over it lol

Ultra Violet, wtf??? Never heard of it, never seen it! Only thing close to purple I know of in the Commodore range are Cosmo and Morpheous...

I don't think that VY Clubby is Cosmo either. Cosmo is darker then that.

My VY2 R8 is in ultra violet. I think it was an HSV colour and not a Holden colour?
Love the car and the colour, more than my VE Clubsport. When I drive the VY R8 people seem to look at it more and comment about it than the VE. I am selling it soon due to NSW laws about my sons not being able to drive a V8. It will be a dark day when it goes.

cosmo was holdens colour, and ultra violet was hsv's colour, it was in the vz model to in the hsv's i think but not many made, its a bloody nice colour i think, cosmo is definatly different to the ultra, not a fan of the cosmo myself:spew:

It's definately UV. As said, Cosmo was a Holden colour, not HSV and UV was certainly available on the Y series. They're very different colours if you see them side by side.

It's not mine though, I was very tempted to sell my black one and buy it when it was for sale but it was too much hard work :(

Ultra Violet has a "problem" though. Half the time it's damn near impossible to stop it looking like good old midnight blue in photo's.
