Driveway Stealers!!

Some help would be appreciated. I was at my mates over the weekend and he lives in Bondi. As you can appreciate parking is rare but I couldnt park my beast away safe and sound as someone had illegally parked across his driveway. He says it happens all the time and he cant get into his garage regularly and its always different cars / people.
He gave a young 18yo girl a filthy mouthful when she picked up her car the next day but it was too late. I suggested he ring a towie but the towie said they would charge HIM. He rang the coppers and the council and they BOTH said they can only give them a fine.
One of those parking lock things are no good as people mainly park across the front. Anyone ever had this? What could he do?

Some poeple are so stupid, how someone could block someones driveway I will never know. I would loosen the sump plug, just leave a few threads in it, lol.

get some nails and bust up all four tyres, won't stop them parking there if they're already there, but I'm sure they wont try it again

Yep, just grab the jacks and push the car away. Hell, leave it parked in the middle of the road then call the cops.

Parts of Bondi arent exactly flat, so he might want to make sure he hangs on.

Sometimes dickheads need things SPELLED out for them.

A mate had a similar ongoing problem, contacted the local council and they stenciled NO PARKING on the road in front of the driveway. Hasn't had a problem in years. If Bondi Council are not helpful, maybe your mate could give it a go himself. Make it look professional and it might just deter some of the @rseholes
