Just after going to summernats this year i wanted to enter my monaro but it didnt happen due to a electrical issue.

but it did get me thinking of what ppl take to summernats

* tool wise
* car cleaning products

Then the second part of this question is what do ppl do to get there car ready for showing in summernats.

*cleaning wise
*mechanical
*what are the little things ppl do to make there ride stand out?

put down ur thoughts

Spend eleventy-billion dollars on it, and youll be right to go :)

lol

It may not be Summernats, but when ever i go to a show, i just give it a good wash before hand. Nothing compared to Summernats entrants though.

It really depends how serious you want to be in the event. If you are going for any of the judging competitions (tough street, elite, top 50 etc) then you need to be super prepared. I am not experienced with it, but I have seen all the guys with full portable detailing kits going over the cars all the time keeping them immaculate. If you are only going for the experience and the driving events then just take normal car wash items like car detergent, sponges, chamois, bucket etc. At the summernats at least, there are hoses available in the various wash bays near the stables to wash your car.

I was one of the lowest quality of car at the summernats (being daily driver, low budget etc) but I still had to wash the car about 5 times over the three days. You should have seen it after the Sunday 'grass' (read mud) event :rofl:

I practise chanting t$ts out for the boys, t$ts out for theboys so i sing it intune with my friends.

All the prep is done before the nats, just maintenence at the nats.
