Would like to see that done with cams from different brands in similar duration, lift etc as the comparison will show the difference with ramp rates of each camshaft. As seeing power difference between say a 218/227 cam to a 236/24x cam well you are going to see more power just in a different rev range. If say the camshafts were all around say 218/224 in duration and similar in lobe sep and lift would be a real good comparison as that would be more like comparing apples with apples. Similar cams seeing what difference they show between them.

yeah the Gm hot cam was a good performer there. Comp did a remake of it on their lsr lobes though haven't seen many using it or seen much results.

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa is the ONLY cam to go. Good for 10.30 ETs and consistent 1.4 sec 60's..... throw a 6000rpm stall in and happily get in the 9s for fuel economy so your drive to and from home to the track doesnt hurt your back pocket

I found that ls3 cams comparo to be very usefull when I specced the cam in my stroker. Ended up going for a 218 228 XE lobed 112 cam as I wanted a very torquey DD not a big reving screamer. It works very well BTW :)
