Hey all, first time posting so i hope i've got the right forum, anyway, i have a VT ls1 and i bought a TK cam (with rods and springs to suit) 3.9gears 4600 stall, OTR, exhaust, high flow oil pump. Which i havn't installled any of this yet, but my question is, do any of use think it's worth putting a fuel system in as well ? I was told that i can use my standard injectors as well, so i'm not to sure what to do.
Thanks Graham

Hi Graham,
Who have you been talking to in Mackay? Generally the fuel system in the LS1 should handle a basic cam upgrade with the exception of the injectors. It takes very little to exceed the stock flow rate and upgraded units are needed. Of course we are assuming that the stock fuel system is in good working order. You will of course need to tune the PCM once all the work is done, if you are not going to try it yourself, HDTCQ are based in Macay and can help you out.

A set of 36lb injectors, along with an in-tank walbro fuel pump should keep your IDC on the right side of 80%. Since you're in Mackay come in and see Jeremy (Jez) at HDTCQ in Paget, he'll be able to explain it all to you.
