Im thinking about putting high flow cats in place of my existing hsv cats.

i have hsv headers with twin 2.5 inch cat back. would it be worth the effort? or do the hsv headers cause the most resriction, rather than the cats?

what do you want the most... power or sound

both would be nice!

i was hopin for a bit more power, and possibly a better note?

IMO the headers will be holding you back a bit in both power and sound. so 4>1 long tubes will def toughen things up power and sound wise. hi flow cats .... yer they help power wise but the biggest gains are in the sound (deeper growl) and more fuelly exhaust lol

Being in the same boat, I'm also keen to know what gains this would achieve over the HSV cats, and would it really be worth the outlay. (same with the HSV headers) Some dyno figures comparing the two would be great.

well i make my own pipework, so it woulnt be a hard job, even just the angle the gasses enter the cat on the hsv cats is a very sharp angle, it would have to be restricting things a bit!

Mate, i say go for it if you can do it yourself.:goodjob:
If you go ahead with it, would love to know the results.

Looks Like KPM have done the same thing and made gains from it
