i can do it for you no problems but your going to be dissapointed unless you have a 400+ ci stroker under the hood...

how well do they run with just head and cam????

they work fine at part throttle and WOT.. but idle is another story, there is often a high leakage around the throttle plates and no amount of tuning or adjusting will get them to idle well on a stock cube motor unless the cam is massive..

i had the 55mm throttle body unit. dale was very understanding and spent some time trying to to get mine right. and yep it was a bugger at idle but ran good up top.. it looked good and sounded great under load but was yuk at idle.. it would only idle at 1100 to 1200 from memory! dale redid mine with the stock t/b and manifold and i lost 4rwkw's... maybe the smaller 52mm one or there are the much cheaper 50mm ones made by someone else would be different. i know listy has a harrop and it runs good. but its alot of money you can get the other type for around $3600 off ebay and they are a 50mm unit and a different set up.. maybe dale that would work better???
Hi, just wounder if the vehicle was tuned using tps ve tables instead of map?.

you would have to ask dale but i think it was tryed with both! the problem was when you got the idle to low when manifold was hot ! if you let it sit for say half a day it would cool and the throttle would stick. then once you got them unstuck you would have to balance them again as they are not splined! look im not saying it was that bad for say a show only car but for a trip to pick the kids up , everyone was looking while it poped and farted till in the revvs... dale told me the same thing up front but i choose not to lisen ,, cost me $$$ to set up and then i pulled my head out of my arse and took his advise went back to stock and lost 4kw's i think it made more nm across the board aswell. will have to dig the dyno sheets out.. ive been told you can crack the 300rwkw's with the stock stuff . so ill be terying that soon.. ill stop once it hits over 300kw ..
Hi ,Yep sounds like a quailty issue witht the throttle blades/ shafts, some times the stock stuff is the go , 300rwkw in a vx ls1 isn't out of reach for sure we did test a warior manifold the other week it made a 10rwkw gain straight up and 80nm torque with with minor adjustments - good luck with ur project
