If you're going to keep trolling everyone's threads, you could at least make half an effort on the spelling, grammar and punctuation. :teach:

Rockers will not change the note of the engine !!! Even going to 1.8's there will be no difference .

only prob with after market rockers is that it will casue valve float earier because of the extra weight

Fitting roller rockers alone will not change your performance or exhaust note but fitting roller rockers with a longer stroke as eg 1.8's will raise your lift on your cam and will change your note and performance slightly.
You would want to check for spring lift rating and for PTV before actually going ahead and fitting them tho.
Increasing weight in the valvetrain will sacrifice throttle response somewhat but if you not hunting big HP then i would say almost a waste of money that could be put towards something with much more bang for buck.
Just my thoughts by the way:yup:

Andy.

Are YT ultralites not lighter than OEM?

Are YT ultralites not lighter than OEM?
the yt ultra lites 1.7 are 13-15 grams lighter then oem
thats about 120 grams lighter within the whole engine -
its not myth but fact-
depending on spring pressure vs valve weight that equals to about 350-500 rpm extra @ about 400-410 open spring pressure

curious as to what you mean about the 350-500 rpm bit? so i'm thinking that if i get valve float @ 5850 rpm with standard springs, using these ultra lights would lift that upto 6200-6350ish

Gary going by my data and over the years hands on and dyno work
i have noticed that using a spring with pressure and properly setting valve-train properly will yield a extra 300-500 rpm..........in most hydraulic jobs-
because its moving or controlling the same mass-
if you want to use standard springs they wont last long on wot stuff unless you let them cool down or drive thru them and its not a fair comparison to compare a factory spring that yields 200-250 pounds on the open vs a spring that has 375-450 on the open-
Everything is about weight

Put a surflo 3.5" single exhaust on it.. much more different than the sea of twin 2.5's out there.

Your car allready has roller rockers in it and they work quite well actually and are the rocker of choice for many. If your chasing a handfull of top end revs go for it and change the valve springs at the same time but honestly save you $$ and put it towards a good exhaust and OTR setup instead.
