Hi all,

Just after some advice on the 2004 VZ SS in a 6 speed manual. An offer presents itself at the moment to swap the GTS (+ some cash) for the abovementioned vehicle. It has only done 40,000kms and is a one owner car in immaculate condition.

I don't really want another V8 as the idea is that we are saving to build on our block of land but I'm considering this as it could well be easier to sell the VZ than the GTS (which is highly modified) up here in NQ.

Any thing to be aware of with these vehicles? I imagine it would be pretty straight only having done such low k's.

is it a 5.7 or 6.0 l out of curiosity. If i was in your shoes i would definately be getting my home sorted first, rather then spending more money on another vehicle, you can always upgrade cars later on. If the gts is in good nick with good k's surely you wouldn't have too much trouble getting rid of it

04 would be 5.7, the 6.0 VZ holden was '06 build only. Except of course if it was a HSV then all VZ's are 6.0

pretty good deal.. you can use that cash towards your house and still drive a nice car too. If the car had any issues it would have been fixed under new car warranty.. And if the owner has the service books you should be sweet. I don't know of any major problems, just small stupid staff like with any car that Holden can't be bothered fixing in the first place. It's had much less problems and issues than a VE that's for sure ;) Good luck anyway :)

Thanks for the advice guys...not sure what to do yet, but it's good to have some advice on the VZ. All I know is it sucks having a car like that for sale. SO many tyre kickers :(
