Hi Folks, Just about to purchase 4>1 long headers and cats for my VE SS and just wondering what i would be looking at paying for the installation?
The car has a 3" KPM cat back exhaust on it already so im guessing that will need some modification to accomodate the longer headers + cats?
Cheers,
Chris

if fabrication work is required i.e not straight bolt up job id say around 200-300 dollars inc gaskets, flanges etc for a pro job.

As 255-LS1 said you'd be looking at bout 250-300 as you'll need extra parts(roughly $100) on top of labour, i've recently gone thru the same thing & labour set me back $270but that included fitting a new catback so yours might be a tad lower.

ok, enquired about, Daalder exhausts in Dandenong have quoted me $80/hr (+GST so $88/hr) to fit. Any ideas how many hours of work i would be looking at?
Also, i did a quick search and cant find any bad experiences with Daalder, anyone got any input?
A guy at work also recommended Fastfit in Dandy (they did the work to his 69 vette), once again if anyone has any input?

Daalder exhausts in box hill supplied & fitted a catback to my last car, had no issues with them both price & service wise.
Like i said earlier if your cats are already fitted with flanges & are suited to both the headers & cats, then it shouldnt take any more than 1.5-2 hours(most of that is involved with fitting the headers) but if you cats are universal(needed to be welded on) then you'd be looking @ 2-3 hours.
