I have been searching through carsales and notice a discrepancy between the asking price of the vx clubbie 255kw and the t3 ford 250kw ts50 from ford?

Both cars are 2002 and cost the same when new, used they seem similar condition and km etc but the ford people seem to think the 5.6 ts50 its worth in some instances more than double what our equivalent clubbie is worth? Ive read a few threads about these cars on other forums and im astounded at how one eyed some people are in favour of the 5.6 ts50? I seem to remember the ls1 getting the better of all the windsor injected motors?

The vx clubbie is a damn good looking car, not sure about the looks of the batmobile t3 stroker 5.6.

Which is better car out if the two? Performance, handling, responsive to mods?

Do you think it could have something to do with the number of T3's built vs the number of VX Clubbies built?:1peek:
I do! There were not alot of T3's built and VX Clubbies seem to be everywhere at the moment.

Agreed. Seriously mate, how much time do you spend researching for tiny areas where a ford model is ahead, just to start a discussion.

Your lucky im not a mod, id have banned your ass by now.

someone shoot that #&$^.

as said the t3 was a limited run hand built stroker engine, vx clubby is run of the mill 2002 HSV with generic ls1 power plant.

and was any AU ford variant good looking..... :spew:

Who gives a s&^t????

They are 9 years old this year, why would you want to know the difference between them? Maybe try a google search for comparisons
Are you looking to buy either of them?
If so go test drive them and see for yourself
The Ford is heavier older technology the engine is hand built but nothing really special about it. Uses bucket loads of fuel compared to the LS1 and is more expensive to modify than an LS1. The only thing going for it is that they were a low build number but its still and AU:spew:

OH BY THE WAY ITS ASTILL FORD :spew:

i like Bingo, leave him alone

anyway the TS50 was a pretty good car in its day, out handle the clubby but as it was for 10yrs the fords were behind the LS1s. Did that matter fot the TS, probably not. ive driven a couple and they are fantastic for the age of them. Autos got the push button active 4spd autos and the manuals were the pick though. The stroker windsor sounded horn and they had all the fairmont goodies with a pretty mean bodykit that actually made the AU shape somewhat acceptable.

Dollar for mods the clubby wins hands down but if you want something rare and dont bleed for holdens the TS would be a good buy, however if you wanted a performance 4 door and didnt want either then Id be looking at a jap taxi something like a Tourer V or a pimped up Celsior

One area where the VX Clubbie had the wood on the 5.6 stroker. The latter chewed juice like a drunken sailor. I may be mixing my methaphors here, but we can burn that bridge when we come to it.

Also, VX Series I Commies did not have the rear suspension rods to control tyre wear. Not even the basic HSV's if my memory is correct. Just the 300kw GTS?

If I was after a VX, I would buy anything pre VX Series II unless it was on offer for a good price. I suppose the wreckers now have plenty of VX Series II and later rear ends with the control rods?

I agree with Zorro. Let's cut each other a bit of slack.

Well said my brother, this idiot reminds me of another idiot on Ford Forums and one that was banned from here, surprisingly both with the same name, HULK BA.
BIlly gets more upended than he upends. Diff gears FTW.

Maybe Bingo should be comparing on price rather than year model.

Lets see an FPV AU T3 or a VZ clubby
