VXII Berlina 5.7 Warning Lights and Start Prob

I have a "Check Power Train " light on. Drove the car to the mechanics turned the car off and now it wont start. Mechanic plugged in his Tech2 and the only warning that comes up is a Climate control warning. He cleared that then it comes up Data lost, up plugs it and tried it again. Same climate control error code comes up. There is also "x" both on the climate control screen and on the dash screen where the "av. speed" is.

Have power to everything tried both keys and neither start the car.

Has anyone got any idea's?

I'd start by checking your temp sensors, what is your outside temperature reading? if its normal get the others tested, sounds like it could be the problem. Also I'm pretty sure the X on the average speed screen means your car is registering a fault take it to the dealer, doesn't necessarily mean you have two faults.
