Hi,
I have a mafless mail order chipmaster PCM ( to suit VY SS, exhaust, headers and OTRCAI) which is no longer used.
It is currently locked to my vehicle but Daniel ( Chipmaster) has confirmed he can fix this for a small fee. I will cover postage and unlocking fee.
Asking $350 ono
Not on here much so best to give me a call on 0411 587 773. PCM is located in Perth currently.
Cheers,
Trav

Hi,
Dont have any dyno sheets would estimate 220-230rwkw with good exhaust/intake.
However, there is a massive difference in drivability and throttle response with this tune. Fuel economy was also noticably better.
Check Chipmasters forum section for heaps of positive customer feedback.
PCM will be shipped to Chipmaster for unlocking and then posted direct to you.
Make me an offer if you like.

Travis

Hi,
When Chipmaster configured the tune I mentioned an OTRCAI would eventually be fitted but did not install straight away. Car still had significantly greater power and throttle response. Ran fine with no issues.
The OTRCAI will just reduce any intake restrictions compared with standard airbox arrangement and suck in slightly cooler air. Remember the ECU has a range of inputs which provide feedback. You have an ambient temperature sensor and the MAF sensor or for a Mafless tune the MAP sensor ( manifold air pressure). These inputs compensate for changes in conditions (i.e driving in 40deg heat with a dirty otrcai filter would be much the same as a standard airbox in 30deg ambient conditions). The ECU has to have the capability to account for these variables and tune the combustion process accordingly - the "tune" is constantly being evolved by way of trimming parameters for spark and fuel.
Sure you could also chase down a cheap 2nd hand otrcai or alternatively a good quality K&N filter element in factory air box and do the 2nd hole mod. To be honest I would probably just go the 2nd route if I had my time again.
Regards,
Travis
