Hey All,

I've recently purchased a VX Series 1 Exec and for some bizarre reason i cannot get comfortable in the drivers seat.

The back of my legs/thighs get sore no matter what adjustments i do. In other cars i have owned I've never had this problem. I thinking thats it the actual length of the lower seat. I'm 5ft 9" in height.

My question is are later model seats more comfortable?
Are the same dimensions?
Maybe a full electric seat might solve the issue?

Cheers,
Dennis

I've only been in a vx exec once and true the seats are shithouse, but not so bad that they should cause problems. Also I doubt ya height is a problem. Maybe jump on ebay and pickup some cheap vt/vx ss/calais seats and put them in, easy to do and hell of alot more comfortable.

Thanks for the response.

I have been looking at ebay, but not sure if i should go for later models seats or not?

I guess the Calais seats would the best option.

Are SS seats the same size?

Macca33 has / had an interior of a Senator for sale... That'd be fantastic!

I had a VT Olympic for 3 years and i am 6 foot tall and never ever had a problem getting comfortable. Even on long journeys I always found the car very very comfy. In my opinion the VT/VX also has some of the most comfortable rear seats going around.

I personally find calais seats seem to be shaped pretty similar to the base model, I would be more inclined to look for VX SS front seats which have extra support and are very comfy
