The best thing and simplest is to make sure the tank is as empty as possible, remove the fuel pump/sender unit, empty the excess fuel and a quick flush with water then grab a few litres of kero and pour some in and swirl around and keep doing it until you have used up all the kero. Let it dry and reinstall everything making sure the fuel sender/pump is also clean.

while you are there I would change the sender O ring and check all fittings and the filler cap to try and prevent dirt getting in there again. Rodeos are bad for this due to fuel tank location.

Pull the tank out, remove pump and sender unit(s) and clean out with a high pressure washer and degreaser. Make sure you dry it properly before refitting (hairdryer works well) and you're done. If its a steel tank instead of plastic, check for rust inside and if you find any serious ammounts, you can use a product like POR 15 or the like to coat the inside of the tank. Clean out the strainer on the pump while you are there and Bob's your uncle.

Make sure you clean the fuel sender unit contacts. It could have some grit on it and it can jam. But good recommendations so far.
