VY Throwing up fault codes

over the past 3 months my vy sv8 has been throwing up engine fault codes, i have had it hooked up to a snap on scan tool and has so far shown me Slip ring failure, MAF codes and a couple others when it does this the car splutters and breaks down then check engine lights comes on then off and it is fine again. I have been told it could possibly be my bcm. has anyone else had this happen and have any ideas.

Usual things but not limited to:
1. Oil sender fault
2. O2 sensor/s fault
3. Knock/s sensor fault

The maf fault if mafless should be suppressed in the Tune not to give that fault or check engine light.

cheers for the reply it is at the mechanics now got in by luck, i am running a otr but still have the maf in so dont understand the reason why i got a maf code.

You might be lucky & have a loose conn. or something?
