anyone ever seen a white late model monaro or hsv coupe?

ok guys probally a pointless thread but have always wondered, ive never seen a late model monaro or gts or gto coupe in white for that matter? how come holden didnt do it or hsv? white is such a common colour but im yet to have seen one? reason im asking is i like white cars :) and would love a white vz gto coupe,

theres a photo floating around on here somewhere of a white Monaro, had a mixed reception, I persoanlly quite liked it.

No, I lie. I have. But it was definitely an after market paint job. White pearl with black roof, bonnet and boot. It belongs to a mate of a mate (Little Brad on here) and was with us at Powercruise last year. For those that were there that weekend, it was the Monaro that hit the front wall.

This is the one i was referring to. I took these pics at Powercruise last year, the day before it hit the wall.

It has a VZ SS front end on it, due to previously being smashed be previous owner (coincidently, at Powercruise a few years back lol)

You've got to remember that at the time the Monaro was in production, white was an uncool colour only fit to be seen on fridges and Camrys. These days, white is a cool colour and I guess silver is the new white.

I've never seen one.
During the production run of the Coupe, this question was raised on this forum, & one was put up....computerised/photoshopped or whatever you call it.....and it looked rubbish....like a taxi......I was quite surprised because I like white cars as a rule, but the coupe did not look good....someone may be able to dig up the thread.

Apparently 1 of the 5 Targa Tasmania Monaro's was returned to stock and painted white, I don't know who has it or where it is though.

I've seen that GTO in about three colours! It looked schmick at the Monaro nats in ballarat! It wasn't white then! It started life as devil.

that white gto looks good except for those orange stripes going over it, just a bit over the top i reckon, would look alot better if they were a matt black, but would look even cleaner and classy looking without them

Ive always hated white cars but lately they are becoming more and more attractive to me!! A monaro or gto in white on black wheels would definately rub me the right way!! Big call but even maybe white on white!!!!

The white GTO at Larner Park would be mine :) Its actually vinyl wrapped matt white, original colour underneath is Black! Ill probably be going past Wall street customs car show tomorrow for a bit so if anyone is going, come have a look :)
