Looking for a new truck for the MRS, been looking at Honda CRV, Subaru Forrester S line, drove the new territory diesel yesterday and also considering the Challenger. It seems rather good value for money compared to say a toyota prado.

Ive read a few good reviews too.

Anyone got any experience with these? Im looking at the XLS

The challenger will be miles better if you plan on doing any 4wdriving, however on road i would have thought the soft roaders better.

We have a 02 model which is the miss's daily car, she loves it, also its very capable off road :)

Some pics here

Have heard nothing but good reports about the 2010/2011 models :goodjob:
Only negative ive heard is that the 2.5 diesel can be a bit sluggish around town when taking off from lights and the like.
Also they come with a factory rear locker which can be very handy off road and have heaps of wheel travel.

Heaps of info here

Hey buddy, you are posting this question on here and you sell cars for a living? :stick::jester:
Seriously, I have not driven the new diesel yet but have driven (and owned,) plenty of the older ones, Mitsubishi make a good 4WD! :)

I have driven also a few late model Pajero diesels and Tritons and they are great and good on fuel also for their size.

my uncle just got the top of the range challenger and to me personally the interior looks cheap & nasty with the wood grain parts and plastics and the diesel is noisy, while my brother has the prado and the diesel is a lot quieter, i prefer the prado

lol yeah i know enough, i have alot of contacts at most brands just not mitsu.
Im lucky to have driven the new territory desiel from work the otherday, ive sold honda for 6 years and its easy to just get a nice crv but i want to take my honda hat off and be open minded. I can take a crv home anytime and dont really want to have 2 of the same car at home if that makes any sense?

from my research the value for money is good but the worst is the Re Sale.
there is a 2010 for sale in syd, top of the range lux with sat nav and dvd la la and its done 4,300kms and they want $42k! Thats alot of car for 42k!
