VT V6 LPG System

Hey guys,

I have a VT V6 complete gas system that has just been pulled out and is still in date. Is this worth anything to sell? I read up quickly and I beleive if I sell it the purchaser can still claim the $1500 rebate back from the government for installation costs.
So how much would the full system be worth to someone?

I doubt people could claim the full rebate :confused: but if you want to sell the mixer separately and cheap let me know as we have a VT V6 Acclaim with "factory fitted" LPG (car was bought new by my parents) that we suspect the mixer is causing problems on.

Should get a bit for the tank depending on how long it has left for due date or if you get it tested ($120 or so????) and it passes you'll get more. We had to put a new tank in our 91 Patrol a year or two ago and from memory it was around $600 + install, though could be wrong............ :confused:

i was lucky to try and fetch $700 for my V8 Vapour system that was under 2 years old

didnt sell in the end and thankfully it didnt after the petrol prices of late

that is correct it doesnt have to be a new sytem to claim the rebate
it wouldnt be worth a great deal maybe a few hundred dollars
