Wallet size is not equal to driving ability.

Awesome, do you know what sort of lap times he was doing?

At least he's driving it hard. There aren't many racers that haven't gone off the track. I see no point in shelling out $2m for one of these if it's only going to be looked at in the garage.

I read somewhere about this ferrari that if you bought one it wont ever sit in your garage, it was apparently only available for people to buy who already had bought the road going version enzo. It said that if you bought one, it was kept at ferrari in italy, if you want to drive at a track day you had to ring them and let them know then they bring the car to you, once your finished driving it they take it back to ferrari.
I know it sounds stupid but i remember reading it lol
Cheers

Yep i do believe this is the car that they were talking about when they said it, would be interesting to see if you had to pay for the shipping of the car to and from.

I don't know the details but they stay with Ferrari unless they're resold privately or something along those lines

Anyone know who owns it, or who was driving it?
All the people who are saying they read this and that about the FXX... well it was all said on Top Gear UK too dont forget :)

Once the first owner sells the car it then no longer belongs to Ferrari , it is solely owned by the new purchaser , in this case some super rich dude from Perth that sold his business for $200M or something.
He also has a white 458 with [ 77 ] plates I think.
The pics are not mine btw.

Alf Barbagello owns the Faza dealership here in Perth and he uses 77 on all of his cars (used to be his sprintcar number at Claremont). I have a contact I can ask so we'll see if it's him...

There was a classic quote from Enzo himself...
"Not all Ferrari owners are Ferrari drivers...."
