Hi All,

I have a 2001 VX SS Series 2, it has clocked over 202,000km now, it has a rear main seal leak and a few other oil leaks here and there. I was thinking now might be the time for an engine rebuild.

Any advice, is it better to buy an LS2 and drop that in, or just rebuild the current engine

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated

Clarky

How much coin do you have to spend mate as that's what it boils down to

More cubes is always better but if you dont have the money then nothing wrong with a freshened up LS1.

I'd have a yarn to Chev mate - he'll be able to provide a number of options and has recently completed an LS1-stroker (383ci) for a customer, which appears to be doing good things.
