VE S2 GPS question

OK, the inlaws have a new sv6 and they had the reverse camera option ticked but without the GPS, now since they have picking the car up they have wanted to have the GPS option installed with dealerships telling them they just cant do it with no explenation.

Question is, does anyone know technically why this cant be done, and if i can what is needed and where to go.

Tell the inlaws to save themselves the $$$, and just buy a decent windscreen mounted GPS. Much better than the incorporated GPS, IMO.

they already do and agree with you in regards to them being better than the holden one, but... still wanna know why
