Hi - My airbag light comes on only on cold mornings and goes off when car is warm about 10 min later
Took to Auto Sparky with Tech 2 Tool whilst light was on and car running, no faults shown or logged in memory
Replaced the clock spring prior to this as I had a spare one thought this may have been issue but was not.
Wondering if anyone has come accross this before, Auto Sparky didnt even seem to be glowing with ideas. His answer was to leave it until to totally dies and wont go off - Thanks

Also check all earths & the front seat sensor/looms sometimes get caught & damaged.

The airbag light or the seat belt pretensioner light? They look very similar in some models.

What car? By coincidence mine on my SSV ute came on yesterday when I started it but as experience has taught me on VE I pulled the key out, put it back in and restarted - no more light. :weirdo:

I got same problem with my VT wagon, but it tends to come on after hitting bump in the road, or is humid weather. Still yet to figure out whats causing it.

Good luck and keep us updated on how you go with it

Mine has been doing it for over a year.. Started with cold mornings now pretty much all the time. Have to find a place with tech2 but someone told me he bets it seatbelt pretensioner..

I have the exact same issue, especially on cold mornings. Hopefully get it fixed when I've finished moving and have had Chev try and fix it.

Just to update on my problem.. I bought a airbag sensor module on eBay & when replaced with mine no more airbag light or alert.. Didn't need a tech2 to clear it either.
