Slicks

Where do you get your slicks from, how much, what brand etc.

I am looking for places that sell used slicks either
24 61 17
24 64 17
24 64 18

Dont want to fork out 500/600 for new ones because this will be a first out with them on the car. I am happy to pay up to 200 each for good ones. I also only have 8" wide rims in both sizes and from looking at the michelin site they will just fit.

there was a bloke selling them on track chat a while ago for $100 in the 24 64 18's I got 6 and it was only $10 each for freight. I think he is on here but under a different user name which I have no idea of

I will never buy 2nd hand slicks again. To many issues. They can blister, de laminate. You just don't know how old they are and how they have been stored. I know it sux buying new with the costs, but if a 2nd hand slick lets go and you total the car, new slicks look cheap then.

A good priced slick/semi comp are the kuhmo V710, they are a motor sport Tyre and they do a 245x40x17 that are around the $280 cost new and are not a bad circuit Tyre. Check out a website called Fsport. They will be a great Tyre for a 1st up outing.
