Hey all,

I've done a search on here and couldn't find a comparison.
I was wondering if there is a difference between the brakes in a VE Clubbie vs VE GTS.

Brakes are the same. If you go to HSV website, then "see HSV" - HSV Classics, you can go any model and compare the specs. They list 365mm front and 350 mm rear for both the LS2 and LS3 GTS and R8.

I thought the GTS were larger than the clubsport, from what I have seen on some GTS, they seem a bit bigger.

Only if you get the yellow premium upgrade they are bigger?

There is an option on the GTS for the SV upgraded to 6/4 pot calipers and larger discs, these are the yellow ones left over from the W427's

6 Piston Brakes are an option, probably more likely found on a GTS. If you've seen GTS with seemingly bigger brakes I would guess it's probably the 6 pot that you have noticed.

Yeah the one's I have seen have the yellow premium barkes package fitted them, they look great too, especially on a Black GTS.

the premium upgrade on the new hsvs still have the same rotor size the only difference was the 6 piton calliper. i spoke to hsv yesterday as i want a to get the front callipers to change mine to 6 piston but they are $2300 each for front calliper only. so it cheaper going to by a full set of brakes.

yep $2300 per calliper!
i told him the same thing lol. its cheaper to go buy a set of 6/4 ap racing brakes and replace the factory hsv brakes than trying to change just the front callipers on them
