Where are my cats?

Hi guys,

Im certainly no mechanic, but I try to keep an interest. I need to know where my cats are in the exhaust line. I crawled under the car and took some pics.

I presume these arent it, as they are too big. So what are these things with Holden written on them?

I'm guessing these are it, size and shape appear to be correct.

Oh, thanks for the advice. I'll tell the mechanic to check it at the next service (in a couple of weeks). I have noticed that the power steering has been a bit poor at low speeds (noisy) and when not moving (shuddering), but its been like that ever since I got it (2 years). Probably needs to be replaced.

Any idea on a worst case scenario cost?

was a fair while ago now but when i did the one in my vs was around $600 and got a similar price for my old vy not that long ago to give you a rough idea anyway.
