09 caprice with 38000 engine rebuild

Hi all i have a ve caprice with 38000 kms getting rebuild already. Holden tech has told me that all 16 lifters and new cam, bearings ect has to go in.

Anyone else having engine builds done?

Is it a common issue with these lifters.

There is a few people that have had this done, more so with the L76's and the AFM lifters.

I thought that too but in another thread when I said something along similar lines PD said the percentage was similar to non AFM??? :confused:

Haha yeh i dunno if thats just spinning the situation to not look as bad as it could be but the only people ive known to have lifter problems all have had an L76's or very tired LS1 lifters
