Hey guys
Im looking to do some bolt upgrades to me LS1 and possible a retune
i was wondering if anyone has some suggestions to help me out. im a fairly low budget,
I have alreadu fitted a 2.5" system from the cats back, now im wondering what are my best choices
Cold air intake-
Extractors-
Oversized throttle body?
I was hoping to keep my maf sensor so i didnt have to get a mafless tune stright away
so any help here would be greatly appreaciated
Thanks scotty :)

Extractors.
If you're not planning major mods 1 5/8 tri-y pacies sound great and work really well. Also consider some high flow cats.
Oversized throttle is 100% waste of time. (IMO)
CAI - IMO a bit of a waste of time too unless you go with an OTR.

Yeh i guessed that about the throttle body lol, Is there any OTR CAI that still incorperate the MAF sensor? and are there any other mods that yous could suggest?

Tune!
You will not believe the difference. If you're a bit of a keen bean you could get yourself EFIlive and see who can help you with what.
I *THINK* That VCM may make an OTR that will still use the MAF, but you really are far better of going with an SD tune, FAR better economy and power. Single most worthwhile mod you can do.

So u think i should go with a mafless tune? with a OTR CAI
Ive already fitted the car with a NPC heavy duty clutch
Ive also noticed that alot of OTR CAI require modification of the body? or is that just with some?

Not sure what you mean. Most OTRs I know of just fit straight on.

Yeah they all fit with relative ease. Might need to trim some plastic here and there but nothing drastic.
MAFless tune + OTR for sure.
You wont see mass gains on the dyno with the OTR but the drive ability is where it shines.
The stock intake heat soaks pretty bad at low speeds.
