Hey guys, where can i purchase the VCM Suite in adelaide?
Are there any retailers for them?
Or do i need to purchase from the US and get it shipped over?
Look for VCM Suite in our Sponsor section here, I bought mine from Greg and the service was brilliant.

Would be alright, although its almost $300 more even after shipping

That $300 would go a fair way towards after sales support- which could be needed if you're a first time user of the product. I know Greg and team know this software back the front and always answer questions I have asked them.

x2!
Been a long time since I've received such good after sales service.
Macca/Sammy: He asked about VCM Suite, I know you guys have your preference but Trolling isn't helping your cause...
(A PM might have been better as you know this is just going to turn into the usual shitfight... :( )

I had 25K of MoTeC gear in the last project car and I feel I got my $ worth in their brilliant after sales support so tend to look for that in a purchase!
The Best hardware/software/price means very little if the thing won't work and no one will help you! (also experienced that side of the coin with a brand x ECU after having bought and used 3 of their earlier versions)

After sales support is very important I agree. The hptuners forum is full of novices and you get the same basic questions over and over though so you have to go elsewhere to get it.

The curent softwear (Version 2.22 relesed 30/04/2008) for VCM Suite is over three years old and i think (but could be wrong) they currently ship with the beta version of the softwear.
The Beta version works fine but the beta version i have has the ability to log a wideband AFR setup on the HPT dongle (generaly refert to as blackbox logging)disabled wich means you have to log with a laptop to record AFR.

Nice constructive post, now that didn't hurt did it :D
Bill over at HP seems to know his stuff when you get hold of him, noticed that "novice" trend is on most of the forums though and why I stressed the after sales backup so much, always good if you can get your info first hand from someone that actually knows and isn't just guessing.

Guys, its all straight up software tools to tune pretty simple EFI computers - its not open head brain surgery, quit the arguing - about nothing. Try tuning a complicated system one day, and be prepared to crap your daks in comparison to a dumb non-VCT non-Boost, non-EGR cam control, and non-TBT LSX series engine that is the things you are playing with

Done any Duramax diesels lately Martin? Always good fun with Pre Pilot and Post Pilot injection, Variable Vane Angle turbo, etc. Lets not forget, as you know, you have to remember how a diesel works and there is no throttle body just mm3 injection measurements with 4 seperate altitude tables per load map. No doubt more complex systems out there but one of my personal favorites and good gains if you understand the concepts.

I like injected cars.. I don't have to change jets. I push numbers on a keyboard. Happy happy days.

You could try City Holden in Pirie street in the city. They told me they use VCM suite. They may sell the tune.

Told ya :D
Had a few issues when I installed the software on my Laptop, phone call and a remote session = 100% fixed and running, can't get that support from the US so for me it was worth the extra $!
