Replacing 02 Sensors VZ SS

Have brought 2 new oxygen sensors for my VZ SS. Other two shat themselves after extractor install. What is the process for installing these? Do I just unplug the battery and leave off for a while and they will be fine when I reconnect? Holden tried to tell me that they need to be calibrated to the computer? Is that correct?

bloody hope not. I have always just uncrewed old ones screwed in new ones and connect to the loom, turn engine over. I dont even disconect the battery (but really you should to save a short)

Hey buddy,
No they do not have to be calibrated to the computer. I had to change mine on my VE with no problems.

I did tell him that you only had to have the battery disconnected for a bit. He tried to tell me otherwise and that it would be about $130 and take about an hour, and I was thinking yeah right mate.
