comp 918 springs standard retainers and locks

hi all just about to put a cam in my vy clubsport and my mate gave me his valve springs from his car, they are comp 918's, just wanted to know if the standard retainers and locks etc from the standard valve springs are the same and will work before i start pulling the engine down, any help would be great

Do a search here and on most other forums for Comp 918 valvesprings, then tell me whether saving some coin, rather than outlaying $300-odd for some nice valvesprings is worth it?!?!?

I wouldnt use 918's in a stocker if you gave them to me. Way to unreliable. Bad Jew Jew when they fail

918's still have problems? that was a long time ago those issues..

PAc are good for singles
